UNIT 2. Migration in the Mediterranean. Immigration in Greek Fiction Film
This video provides a brief overview of the portrayal of immigration in Greek fiction films from the 1950s to the present. Through representative films, it shows the progression from stereotypical depictions in the 1950s and 1960s to more thoughtful explorations of migration in auteur cinema in subsequent decades. In addition, the video highlights the diverse migrant groups and themes that have been given central roles in different film genres and time periods
