Lesson 4. Fake news
In this lesson we define the 21st century concept of fake news. We introduce its different types and topics and show, in a very succinct way, that a sociopragmatic discourse analysis of this news can reveal how the emotions and stance of its readers are generally manipulated, along with the distortion of real facts in the “post-truth game”.
