ICT accessibility. Perception (Human-computer interaction: design for all and assistive products)

Ensuring that a person perceives information about an ICT product or service is one of the core accessibility requirements. To achieve this, it is recommended that systems generate distinguishable information across various modalities (visual, auditory, and tactile) to accommodate the sense(s) used by the individual; that potential environmental interference (such as glare or background noise) be avoided or countered; and that the system's operation remains compatible with assistive technologies.
