The EU Twin transitions: Digitalisation and sustainability

The European economy is undergoing unprecedented transformations towards a fair green and digital future in a context of massive uncertainties linked to the global and security outlook. The pandemic and the EU policy response have accelerated the twin transition of the EU economy (two parallel transitions, the "green" transition and the digital transition) and highlighted the need to strengthen the resilience of the EU economy. The European Commission recognises the key role that the digital and green transitions and this videoclass introduces the fundamental concepts of both transitions.
