TRADIT26 Conference

TRADIT26 is the Second International Conference on Didactic Audiovisual Translation and Media Accessibility, organized by the TRADIT Research Group and hosted by UNED in Madrid on 15-16 October 2026. Building on the success of TRADIT23, the conference brings together researchers, educators, translators, professionals, and postgraduate students to explore the growing role of audiovisual translation and media accessibility in education and society. The conference showcases innovative practices such as subtitling, dubbing, voice-over, and audio description, highlighting their contribution to the development of linguistic, mediation, creative, and intercultural competences. It also addresses emerging challenges and opportunities created by technologies such as generative AI and immersive environments. As an international forum for knowledge exchange and interdisciplinary collaboration, TRADIT26 promotes critical reflection at the intersection of education, translation, accessibility, linguistics, technology, and communication. Its goal is to advance more accessible, inclusive, creative, and engaging learning environments through research, innovation, and best practices. Welcome to the TRADIT26 video channel, where we share keynote talks, presentations, research insights, and discussions on audiovisual translation, media accessibility, and language education.
