Figurative Clues from Emerging Practices

The findings of the Madrid Cosmópolis project are discussed in the light of classic and new tropes used to grasp “urbanness”. The study of emergent practices in the city provides clues for such an exercise of refiguration, having to do with boundary work, self-design, chronotopies and the production of value chain.
