Artificial Intelligence: blessing or curse?

Artificial Intelligence provides a huge opportunity to improve our businesses, to grow our economies, and to help solve our societal and environmental challenges as captured by the Sustainable Development Goals. A blessing! However, that same technology also creates risks that, if not taken care of, may result in negative consequences, intended or unintended. A curse! In this talk, I will examine the opportunities and risks of AI and recommend ways of how we can maintain AI as a blessing while minimizing the risk of AI becoming a curse.
