Argument structure representation: constraining lexical-constructional integration

Meaning construction is based on cognitive modeling, which is the result of representational cognitive operations acting on cognitive models of various kinds. Cognitive model types allow us to organize the architecture of a meaning construction model and to set up descriptive levels: argument-structure, implicational, illocutionary,
discourse-structure. The study of cognitive operations, which are ubiquitous among descriptive levels, endows the resulting account with high explanatory adequacy.
